Dear parents, As the end of the semester nears, I would like to invite you to two events this week. The first is a performance by our drama students on Wednesday evening at 6:30 in the Theater. Students will perform "The Act of Life" featuring students' reflections on life in the face of its uncertainties and threats. The second is a holiday-themed concert with our music students on Friday evening, also in the Theater. Both events provide important opportunities for our students to showcase their art while practicing presentation and communication skills, all critical to holistic and healthy development. I hope you will join us to celebrate our performers' efforts. Only three weeks remain in the term, and all students are expected to attend school daily until Friday, December 15. Content-specific academic learning will continue through Wednesday, December 13, and students will experience a variety of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) with...

Dear Parents, It was great to host our partner schools for the High School Friendship Games this past week. This is an important community-building event, and we appreciate the parent turnout and support to cheer on our teams. Our student athletes worked hard and showed great sportsmanship, and I believe they were proud of their effort. We are proud of them as well. Regular instruction this term will continue through Wednesday, December 13, so it is critical that all students attend school continuously as classes wrap up learning for the semester. Many students will be completing and presenting projects demonstrating their learning during the week of December 11. Please help us keep students focused as the break approaches by asking about their projects and reviewing expectations with them in Google Classroom. Thursday, December 14 will be a special STEAM-focused learning day for all Mid...

Dear Parents, Regular reading is an important habit and one of the best ways to support ongoing learning for students of all ages. ACS is excited  to be bringing back opportunities for families to purchase books in English. We are partnering with Ernesto Martinez, from Vinculos Publishing, here in La Paz, to offer high-quality books and literature for students from age 3 through Grade 12. The first opportunity will be an online book order to be delivered on or before the last day of school this semester, December 15th - just in time for the holidays. The second will be a physical book fair this coming April, where students and parents will be invited on campus to shop for books from a variety of local and international publishers. To participate, please see below: Books For Sale: Secondary Grades Books Catalog Secondary Grades Book Prices in Bolivianos To Order: On or before Friday, November 10 , email Ernesto Martinez ( ernesto@vinculos.com.bo ) the titles and the item number...
