Dear parents,  We are excited to share two new initiatives designed to help build community and encourage growth in our middle and high school programs. First, last week students will attended the second of our monthly assemblies. Held in the Theater, these 30-minute middle and high school meetings provide opportunities to share information, showcase student learning, and encourage student involvement and leadership. Our high school assemblies are coordinated by the Student Council, and we will gradually involve students in leading the middle school assemblies. The second new initiative is intended to provide one way to recognize effort and encourage growth in areas that aren't typically reflected in grades or GPA. Dear parents, We look forward to seeing you this Friday at 2:00 for our Carnaval celebration. Students have been busy learning traditional dances and are excited (and a bit nervous!) to perform them for you. Please come and cheer them on! Also, there is no school next Monday and Tuesday (February 12 & 13) due to the Carnaval holiday. Classes will resume on Wednesday, February 14. We have a substantial collection of clothing that students have left behind over the past several months. Please stop by the front gate this week to pick up any missing items. Because our storage capacity has been reached, all Lost & Found clothing will be donated to charity after this Friday, February 9.
